Tables are a convenient way of rapidly adding data to a Kes report. The tables are defined in Kes Studio.
They are published to your survey and contextually connected to an asset. This article is about using the table in Kes.
Instructions to use Kes tables
Step 1: Open an activity which has tables defined
You cannot tell from the activity card (yet) if the activity has tables.
An activity has tables if you see the table as follows:
This activity has a "weekplanner" table connected to a "Test Asset"
Step 2: Populate the table with data
- Click the name of the table in the top right corner
- Use the plus sign to add data
- When done click "DONE"
The data is saved for you, you don't have to explicitly save.
You can delete a row by using the X on the far right of the row
Step 3: View previously added data in the table
- If the table has data then the a menu item with the name of the table and a count of its rows appears in the left menu:
- Click "Weekplanner (1)" to see more options related to the row in the table
- Open a menu by clicking the three dots
You now know how to use tables.
